A recent research study conducted by Market Strategies International recognizes Stream (Stream Energy) as one of the top 10 most trusted retail energy providers in Texas.
Market Strategies International surveyed 5,881 customers to score 52 reps throughout Texas, based off of nine categories. These categories included: community support, customer focus, communications effectiveness, environmental dedication, local reputation, reliable quality, competitive rates, enhanced offerings, billing and customer service (https://www.youtube.com/StreamHome).
The survey results suggested that brand trust is integral to communities and customer-focused situations, particularly when dealing with natural disasters such as Hurricane Harvey.
Senior Vice President at Market Strategies, Chris Oberle, further explained as to why customers view Stream as a trustworthy electric provider, stating that “The bottom line is Texans want their retailer to support them and their community during this time of need, and REPs who answer that call will be rewarded with greater customer trust and long-term business success.”
This comes off the heels of Stream previously announcing their donation of $25,000 to the American Red Cross for relief efforts concerning Hurricane Harvey, and waiving late fees for all customers during the recovery; this also included waiving the late fees for all customers who were dealing with Hurricane Irma.
When asked about Stream’s growing reputation as a trustworthy company, Stream President and CEO Larry Mondry stated that “Our team will work hard every day to prove to our customers that we are worthy of this recognition, and to be the best REP with the best value and service in the industry.”
